EA changed the way trades functioned during Madden NFL 25
Auction houses are the best place to go to for finding a particular card. It doesn't matter if it's limited edition Madden 25 coins player cards as well as a stadium or even a uniform to make the players pop in the air, coins are tossed into and retrieved from the auction houses in millions each day. It's an excellent place to go to locate that perfect card to complete the set, or to purchase the required token to obtain the final upgrade for the player. You can also exchange with other players to purchase what you require.
Unfortunately, EA changed the way trades functioned during Madden NFL 25 due to the fact that the block for trades was misused in the past. If you deal now, the player is no longer auctionable. What is the reason to apply a deeper reasoning behind trades? You could limit the misuse by limiting trades for players from the same tier or even 2 for 1 for players from the lower higher tier.
You can, for instance, swap an top Brady cards to QB needy player, in exchange for the top Richard Sherman card you've been looking for to complete your defense. If you have a number of silver receivers, you could trade a few of them to acquire your Gold tight end you'll need. This is obviously only a basic model of how trades could be arranged, but severing trades hasn't been the best idea for this season's game.
This is a situation that EA might not be able to make a decision on. Recently the ESRB made a statement stating that it does not necessarily consider packs of loot or collectible cards packs as gambling. However, the fact that it received this much attention in the media could draw attention on microtransactions within games. Although you're sure to find games related content inside packs, it might not be the thing you're looking for.
The best way to address this is to narrow the criteria to pay packs. Packs can be labeled "49ers offensive leaders" and then provide a guarantee for at least one players to play cheap Madden 25 coins beyond the promise levels. This could reduce the buyer's remorse after paying real cash for pack. Packs that are obtained through challenges or coins can still be randomly generated but it's only the microtransaction packs paid for which will be more precise.
